About Us

Yoga is known to be one of the most powerful systems to regenerate a person's overall health and  well-being.  Yoga has the ability to reduce stress, increase flexibility, improve strength, increase cardiovascular conditioning, lower blood pressure, promote healthier blood sugar levels for diabetics, lifts mood and promotes one's spiritual well-being, and.....that's only a partial list of the benefits.

Our teachers are authentic and 
professional practicers of yoga. Yoga for Life, the Journey Within offers classes for everyone including gentle, restorative, beginners yoga, Bhakti, Kripalo, Hatha, and Integral (as taught by Swami Satchidananda) yoga for round bodies yin Lyengar vinyasa, power yoga, yogalates, Yoga Nidra, and Ashtanga.

The key is to have a plan for your innate being and being inspired.  Each new day of life gives you a chance for a renewal in your life.  It's your life journey.  Allow us to permeate positive energy with every inhale and exhale.  With each breath, suddenly things will just become brighter and more peaceful.

Yoga for Life, the Journey Within offers wellness therapies including message, acupuncture Kripalo body work, Bhakti Yoga body work, and hypnosis. We also offer yoga for cardiac patients, cancer patients, and those in remission, breathe work for asthmatics, Kirtan. Private one-on-one yoga and corporate yoga programs,  

We offer discounted programs for those medically diagnosed with PTSD.

Gentle:      Indicates class comfortable for beginner students and women who are pregnant
Moderate:  Indicates acceptable for experienced students who have completed 30 gentle yoga
Advance:   Asana postures are held for longer durations and intensity  
Vinyasa:   Is a vigorous practice - when movement is paired with the breath, in flowing energy

Yoga:         Gentle, moderate classes.  Students will be guided to work at their own pace with         adjustments for each pose to accommodate the body and mind

Flow Yoga:  Yoga poses flow in a sequence from one to next.  Vibratory, panic, and rhythmic

Bhakti:        A devotional yoga for the Lotus heart and to ease your mind.  Bhakti embraces the full 8 limbs of yoga and the grace of Atma-Nivedana. In this class you will find grace and poise in the asana (posture) Ohm

Restorative:  In a world of contrast, the overworked and over stimulated will find sanctuary.  Restorative yoga sequences plus aromatherapy, Reiki, breath awareness, and meditation. Embracing all the energies of the student's body with tender loving care.
